HELLO! Sorry for being MIA for soooo long. I have been so "trapped" at work that I felt like I got sucked into a time warp and lost track of what happened in real world. I never thought I'd enjoy my work this much before since the reason I went to engineering was because my parents threw me into this field. Both of them were engineers, my mother a satellite engineer to boot. Last couple of weeks, I went through a period of sorrow (the chip I built wouldn't work - it's like having a kid of yours sick in the hospital) to a mere joy (finding the root cause of the problem and worked around it). This is by no means the first chip I help build, but I have never felt so attached before.. I have also for the first time felt so lucky to be working with so many of these talented people. My coworkers made me proud. I am proud of my work.
Sorry about the babbling. I have so much emotion right now and I felt I needed to put it out somewhere so I can remember later. Working on post silicon power on have opened my eyes and introduced me to a whole new world.
On to the outfit. The skirt was a store purchase for less than $45. Online price is still $89.99 down from the original $138. Size 00 fit me perfectly. It's a great quality wool mini and it's super cute in person. I acquired this Phillip Lim Pashli mini satchel more than a month ago and never got a chance to use it until recently. I love the design of this satchel and the color is a great neutral that goes with pretty much everything. The golden double zippered front is my absolute favorite.
You can wear it crossbody like this:
Or hold it in your hands like this:
Ann Taylor factory v-neck sweater (old)
J.Crew colorblock check mini (buy here)
Loft jacket with faux fur (old, love it still)
Ralph Lauren dark brown leather gloves with tan bow (love it. bought it recently from TJMaxx for $25)
pearl necklace from auction
