Giveaway Winner and Picture Frames

Hello, Everyone. Happy Friday night. I just tallied up the entries for the eShakti giveaway and drew the lucky winner with random.org. The winner is ..

Congratulations! Please contact me within the next 48 hours to claim it. Thank you all for entering.

I want to tell you guys how much I'm enjoying this free iphone app called "Picture Frames" I just discovered through Annie. Thank you so much Annie. The app allows you to put multiple pictures into one frame and there are a lot of different combinations to choose from. One flaw of this app is that it won't allow you to directly upload to Instagram. You have to save the created frame to your photo album and upload it from there. Oh well. Maybe one day if I feel the need to bypass this intermediate step, I'll shell out an extra 99 cents for Instaframe, which allows you to do just that.

Here are the two frames I created.
Loft top (xxsp, recently got it on sale for $12)
Loft Marisa capri pants (00P, recently got it on sale for $24, buy here)
Talbots Edith Patent Leather Peep-Toe Platform Slingback (buy here)
J.Crew factory bracelet
JCPenney Ring
Swarovski  earrings

Outfit 1:
Loft dress (00P, old)
Loft cardi (xsp, old)
Belt from an H&M dress
Talbots Edith Patent Leather Peep-Toe Platform Slingback (buy here)
Ann Taylor bracelet
Michael Kors watch
pearls from auction

Outfit 2:
Ann Taylor dress (00P)
Ann Taylor gold skinny belt (old)
Michael Kors watch
Talbots sandals (last season)

On an unrelated note, I just finished the 2nd season of Glee and still enjoying the show a lot. Onto the 3rd season. Hope you all have a great weekend!  Hopefully I'll be spending mine planting some flowers.

  1. Very pretty outfits. : ) I like your iPhone case!

I don't use Instagram so I wouldn't know, but I use two collage apps: PicFrame and Frametastic. Maybe you can check those out to see if they work with Instagram.

  5. Have you considered re-styling your hair? From the photos, it looks very dry and unkempt, and the hair style does not suit your face shape.

    1. Interesting observation. My hair is actually on the oily side and not dry at all. What kind of hair style do you recommend that will suit my face shape?

  6. ARGHHHH I tried to reply but I was not logged in. I don't think your hair looks dry and unkept. I think it is the way your hairstylist cut your hair (looks like a razor or edge of a scissor was taken to cut your hair into layers). And... possibly s/he just took off a bit too much, therefore your ends look less full and unbalanced (I had a hairstyle similar to yours a couple of years ago).
My advice is not to go too short because a short hair might emphasize your face shape, which is wider at the cheeks. I think the shortest you should go is probably shoulder length... but hey if you get a good stylist who knows what they are doing, ask them.
Thought I would chime in :O)

    1. Thank you, SME! You got it. My stylist did use a razor for my haircut. :)
I actually don't think my cheeks are widest point of my face. I think my jaws are wide. I have a fairly square face. I used to envy almond shaped faces, and thought my face was ugly. But as I get older, I learned to appreciate myself and now I'm completely enjoying my face. That you can't do unless you are my age. :D

  7. Hi Vicky, I was very drawn to your yellow Talbots sandals.
    I think you're about my size!...maybe? I'm 5'2." I guess I'm a 'large petite' too. =]
I'd like to take more mirror pictures for my blog like some of your posts, probably in the bathroom at work too. But I feel so self-conscious when other people step in, lol. Plus all of my pictures would have my dorky access card clipped to my waist.

    1. Hi Joy. The yellow Talbot sandals were one of my favorite purchases last season. They are not only super cute, and cheap (i got it on clearance), they are also extremely comfortable. I wore it to outlet mall for almost 5 hours of shopping and no pain. lol.
Oh I am very nervous when I take these pictures. To avoid people walking in on me, it usually took me literally seconds to snap these pictures. Regarding the access card (badge), take a look a the picture of me in the yellow sandal. See what was in my right hand. lol.

  8. Wow, all 3 outfits are great! You look fantastic!

I just got into Glee not too long ago, and have watched all of the seasons in a very short time period. I LOVE it too!
