I worked till 1 am last night, (or was it this morning), so when I woke up I felt that I didn't sleep at all. I'm the type of person who can sleep 12 hours if you let me. How did I jazz up my spirit? By wearing colors of course. I liked the outfit so much that I wanted a picture to capture it. But there was no one around and I didn't have a remote for self picture taking. (I know what I'm going to ask for Christmas. :)) Waiting till the end of the day is just not an option. I usually look like I got run over by a bus when I come home every night. So I tried self picture taking by using the timer on the camera and just run over to the front of the camera and pose.
Um, not bad, right?
That's after tons of failure shots like these:

haha..You're funny, Vicky! Even with the remote, self-photography isn't easy. Glad you were able to capture your OOTD. The skirt looks great on you. Nice color combination!
ReplyDeletei really love this animal print skirt and it's great with the AT silk shirt! so glad you were able to capture it on camera. :)
ReplyDeleteand camera remotes are a great buy! mine was only $25 or so on Amazon, so not really that expensive and definitely worth every penny!
cute & little
Great outfit for Fall. :) Or is it winter now? haha. Either way, wearing bright colors definitely lifts anyone's spirit! Love it!

lol, i do the self-timer too. i love the yellow and the extra little color from your nails!
ReplyDeleteHope you can get some sleep soon!!
ReplyDeleteI love the color combo you created!
When I try timer photos they usually come out so blurry...but I feel like I am standing still?!
Awww you poor thing. What are you doing up at this hour?? I went to bed at 1am too and I am so tired! OK so what I found out was the link in my post today is the Chloe Paraty Tasseled bag, this is $2295. The leather on this particular bag is pretty smooth, it's calfskin and doesn't scratch. The Chloe Paraty which is what you are thinking of comes in 2 sizes being that you are petite, I would guess you are interested in the Medium size and that is $1895. That is pebbled leather, nothing like the Chanel lambskin that you are accustomed to. I like pebble leather and it is not rough at all. I am starting to lean towards the $1895 option! Let me know what you decide!
ReplyDeleteUsing a self-timer is exactly how I take pictures, too. It's not so bad once you get the hang of it (especially if your camera has auto-focus at the last second). Does your camera have the option of interval timing (not sure if that's the exact name)? It's where consecutive shots are taken with a second or so in between each shot. So that way if you can't pose in time for the early shots, the later ones should capture it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with this outfit; so glad you were able to capture it for us!
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. Love it from head to toe! Thank goodness you were able to snap off some to show us! Do you have a remote? I used to use self-timer before I got my new camera and it's a pain!!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely! I laughed at the self photography shots - mine always turn out looking like that too - sigh!
ReplyDeleteLove this blouse on you...I'm wearing mine tomorrow...great pairing with the skirt!
