Loft 40% Sale and Flat Wool Twill Cropped Blazer

I'm busy getting ready for the 8 inches of snow that is threatening to hit our region tonight. Yeah, what's up with snow in October? But before I get buried in the prep work, I'd like to share with you all on a Flat Wool Twill Cropped Blazer that I found from Loft yesterday before the 40% off entire purchase deal ends tonight. (use code SHOP40). If you have a Loft Cares card, you should call and ask that the discount be applied towards the purchase as well. I bought it in store, so I got an extra 25% off with the card. (Code LOFTCARES for online purchase).
I have nothing bad to say about this jacket. I love the texture, the color, the fit, the cropped look, the pockets, the lining. The regular price is $128, which is a little much for this jacket, but with the discounts, it comes down to around $57.6, which I think is fantastic for its quality and fit.
Outfit Details:
Loft Flat Wool Twill Cropped Blazer (00P, buy here)
Loft blouse (xxsp, this season, not available online now)
Gap corduroy leggings (00R, in albergine LOVE! buy here, See 00P on Jean.)
Ann Taylor skinny belt (old)
Rebecca Minkoff MAC clutch in Amethyst (ADORE! buy Red version here)
Preview International Peep Toe Cutout booties (Nordstrom Rack, old)

I have another pair of Gap corduroy leggings (00R) in Rust that I will return to the store. Since it's sold out online, I'd like to check if any one of my readers would like to snatch it up. I paid $42. If you want it, please let me know. The length is great for petites 5'2"-5'4". I cuffed it and I like the cuffed look too.

Update at 2 pm: The snow is hitting us now. Stay safe and warm, my friends in MA.
Update at 5 pm: Yep, it's been snowing - big flakes!

  1. The blazer does look really nice on you, Vicky. It's such a classic piece that can be worn for years to come. It's 29 degrees now in Ohio. Brrrr! I hope we won't get 8 inches of snow tonight. Gotta go check the weather. Have a great weekend and stay warm =)

  3. So many things to comment on! Where to start... the blazer looks fantastic on you, as does the printed top (which I'm disappointed sold out so quickly). Lastly, new MAC?! Congrats and wear her well!

  7. Annie, thank you so much for your love! I added a link to Jean's post on a 00P. I think it's too short for even us petites. After several washes, it'll become cropped leggings. :) That's why I ordered 00R. It fits perfectly and no waist gap for me, so I am very happy.

  8. Thank you, Cee. If you would like I can keep an eye for you in our store. I think they have an xsp laying around yesterday when I went. Just let me know.
The MAC is a beauty. It's so soft and pretty. I love the golden hardware with the deep rich purple. Will post more pictures.

  9. Just updated the post with the shoes info. I bought it from Nordstrom Rack a year ago. The brand is "Preview International", and I have not even heard of it. :) It's very well made and the leather is soft.

  10. I cannot believe you guys are getting snow!!

Vicky I absolutely love that blazer! And I think you got it for an excellent price.  My last H&M blazer probably cost me that much and the quality of yours is I'm sure waaay better!

  12. Such a great look Vicky! Love those corduroys you on! I would totally take the rust off your hands, but I'm not sure if a 00R would fit me.

  18. I really love the fit of them at the waist!  The ankles could be better...I wish they were a little tighter  I just posted a preview of my fitting room pics on my blog. I am hoping to get some outfit pics of them this week.  I do have the slightest doubt about them...mostly my husband not liking the color. Ultimately, I will probably keep them, but taking some potential outfit pics will help me make my final decision!

  19. Love the outfit, especially the blazer!  I'm sad I missed out on the sale, I've been looking for blazers for school/work!

I heard on the news about the snow....craziness!!  Hasn't started snowing in Canada yet!

  20. I think these are my favorite pants on you. More flattering than the ponte olive green even though you wear those pretty well. The color is elegant, and the longer length makes a big difference in elongating your legs in the total look. The 00P were a definite no-go for me because they'd become mini crops after a wash, like you said! Great find with the LOFT blazer. It looks well-made and fitted.

  21. this blazer looks great on you -- very well fitted and the double-pockets on the right side make it a bit more interesting.  and these pants fit you perfectly and definitely elongate your legs!

hope you're staying warm up there!  our cold front is finally leaving so i'm taking advantage of the last remaining days of shorts weather.  :)

    cute & little

  22. Love your  blog. I am 5'1" and do not blog but I have learned so much by following you and other petite fashionistas, especially the petite fashion challenges.  I have a suggestion: Outerwear can be particularly challenging for petites.  Why not a PFC called OUTERWEAR CHIC.. This would be helpful with the cold winter months approaching...The look could be dressy or casual and must include an outerwear garment appropriate for being outdoors in inclement  weather.

  23. Vicky, thanks for visiting my blog! I love the Ivanka leopard pumps and overall they are pretty comfortable. However, the top part of the shoe rubs against my pinky toe. I'm hoping Dr. Scholls can fix that problem :)

  24. Thank you so much for offering, Vicky! I will pass for now because I'm not quite sure which size I am in that top. Sometimes AT/LOFT blouses have short sleeves so maybe regular sizes would work better for me.
