PFC #7: The Little Black Dress

Thank you, Jessy from The Little Dust Princess, for hosting this month's Petite Fashion Challenge!!!

The challenge:
A little black dress (LBD) is essential in every woman's wardrobe. It's always great for back-up if you run out of outfit ideas for a night out. Adding a pop of colour to your LBD will change up its look and make your dress a little less boring.

I lost track of how many times I wore this Amrita Singh necklace since I got it a few weeks ago. It's now my new favorite jewelry. It certainly does the job of sprucing up the LBD. I have a feeling a lot of you today participating in this challenge will reach for the AS jewelry. Can't wait to see if I'm right. Hehe.

Outfit Details:
Loft dress
Ann Taylor belt (buy here)
Amrita Singh Necklace (buy here)
Loft bracelet
Chanel WOC
Aldo sandals

Don't forget to check out other petites' take on this challenge here.

  1. You look great, Vicky! I think you're right. You and Annie are wearing the same necklace for this challenge. I can see why though. It's gorgeous! I got mine in evergreen today and I love them. I can't wait to show them off. You did great with the challenge.

  2. LOL if I read Jessy's challenge correctly, you bet I'd be rocking my evergreen necklace. I just adore the coral jewelry and belt set on you Vicky. I admit that I decided I wanted your belt after you twitpic'd it...and waited several days before calling to order it. Unfortunately since it was on sale they wouldn't give me free ship (I tried a few stores) so I gave up. I'm happy with just yellow, but gosh, the set again is stunning on you and the WOC as a clutch is so elegant.

I have been loving all the Amrita Singh jewelry floating around the petite community. I should have ordered some things when it was 50% off the entire site...grr!!

  16. so jealous that this dress fits you so well, esp at the bust which can be tricky w/the asymetrical ruffle running across it. Could hardly say the same for myself when I tried it on.

  30. Thank you, Kelly. I wish I had gotten a classic flap as well before the price increase. You should bring your red one out more often. I hardly ever see it, but every time I do, I admire the beauty of it. I love the classic red color.
