OOTD: Late St. Patrick's Day Green

I totally forgot to wear green on St. Patrick's Day and was mocked at work for it. So to make it up, I'm wearing green today. Also temperature went up to the mid 60s today, although windy, I was still pretty happy that spring is finally in the air. Finally, my photographer is back and I'm totally feeling the difference. How about you guys?

  3. Thank you. I am very happy with this trench. It was tough for me to finally find something that looks decent on me. This was without alteration.

  6. Yay glad your dad is back. He sure picked a good time to go away to warmer climates and then come back just when spring arrives in MA. You look great in this shade of green, very flattering against your skin tone. Have a good weekend, Vicky!

  8. Love all the layers that I'm seeing! Such a perfect harmony of colors too without the obvious green to celebrate St. Pattys.

  9. Yes green totally suits you! Love the outdoor shots - *sigh* I wish I could find a somewhat private outdoor space to take my pictures.

  10. This outfit is so lovely Vicky...............it's funny because the coworker that urged eveyone in our office to wear green for St Patrick's day didn't wear green at all! Lol

  11. I still love this top, and I'm slightly jealous of your trench! I wish BR trenches fit me like that... and not even an XXSP no less. You definitely look happy to have your photog back! :)

  14. You are so right, Cee! He missed the worst storms we had, enjoying 70 degree weather, and just to rub it in, told me that it was actually a bit too hot in the sun. Can you believe it? lol. Have a great weekend, Cee.

  17. Oh Elaine, I like outdoor photos SO MUCH BETTER than indoor ones. I was just happy to be able to go outside. :) I know your pain. I can't even imagine taking photos outside when strangers are watching. :(

  18. Liane, this trench (from BR factory) fits me so much better than the beige one I got from BR a while back (that ended up being a return). The Factory store sizes are smaller than the regular store. keep that in mind. Loft on the other hand is opposite. I find their outlet sizes a whole size bigger than regular store.

  19. Thank you so much, Kileen. New England doesn't have much of a transition. Before you know it, it'll be summer for us. :)

  20. You look adorable from head to toe Vicky! Hope I can be as cute and trendy after I have two children. Love the top (that's an oldie right? I wish I had gotten that about a year ago) and the casual crossbody.

  21. I love your outfit! I think you wear green really well and I can't say enough how well that BR trench fits you. I am still on the hunt for my own perfect trench so am full of envy that you have found yours. :)

  22. Yay for getting your photographer back! I really love how you've paired olive with gray - great outfit!

I've gotten pinched too many times by "well-meaning" coworkers to go sans green on St. Patty's day so I wear green every year more so from fear than the desire to celebrate the holiday :)

  23. Aw, thank you, Jean. :) I am 100% certain that you will be a trendy Mom! I can't imagine otherwise. Yes, the top was from last spring, I think.

  25. Haha. I know, right? I don't do anything else but to wear green on this day. When kids were younger, school had projects of building a leprechaun trap to be used on this day, which I thought was pretty fun.

  26. I like how the olive shade of green isn't super bright emerald green like my green top for St. Paddy's Day. It's much more versatile. I ended up being sick that day and didn't get to wear it, maybe I'll do a belated St. Paddy's Day post too!!
